The Editors

Editor In Chief

Calvin Madsen is a fiction writer and musician from Malibu, California. He is a alumni of University of California Santa Barbara, holding a bachelors in English. Madsen has short fiction published in The Pamona Valley Review, Nation of Diry Assholes by Brent L. Smith, Feliz Magazine, The Catalyst (UCSB), and more. He self-published a collection of short stories titled Hello Receiver, and a graphic novel titled Emzara & the New Model.  Madsen is particularly interested in speculative fiction and spooky kafkaesque scenarios. His major influences are Rod Serling’s “Twilight Zone,” Franz Kafka, and Richard Brautigan. Madsen hopes to publish more books and other storytelling media in the near future. 

 

Executive Editor 

Rosella Weigand is an aspiring writer/filmmaker, as well as, a Community Moderator, Featured Curator, Weekly Writing Challenge Project Leader, and Contributing Artist for hitRECord, an online global art community. As the co-founder of Weigand Films, alongside her brother, Richard Weigand, she has produced and starred in several online short films and 2 seasons of the comedy/spoof web series “Curve Your Vampirism."

Through the years, her writing has been published in many books, including “the tiny book of tiny stories: vol. 3," “The Patterns Book," and “The Art of “Breaking Up," released by hitRECord in partnership with Harper Collins Publishers and hitRECord's “Campfire Stories," in partnership with the National Parks Foundation. In addition, her artwork has also been featured on S1 + S2 episodes of both Pivot TV's Emmy-award winning “hitRECord on TV" and the YouTube Originals series “Create Together." 

 Currently, she resides in Fairmount, Indiana with her loving family and precious kitty family.

Anne-Marie Jones

Mia Soto: better known as M.S. Blues, is an 18-year-old writer, editor, teacher, SBNR advocate, and most importantly, a warrior. Through her work, her objective is to raise awareness of issues that society tends to neglect, as well as, represent her communities – Queer, Mexican, Polynesian, and Indigenous. 

Ellie Lim: queer, Asian American writer and musician based in California. Ellie’s work explores her curiosity about the many connections between her creative disciplines and she always seeks to make the historically inaccessible available for all to enjoy, creating art and music both for and with her local community.
