Poets seeking a global platform to showcase their work can now submit to the SHINE International Poetry Series, a distinguished platform curated by American poet Samantha Terrell. SHINE celebrates both established and emerging poets, bringing their voices to an international audience through its online series and quarterly print publication.
Since its inception in Winter 2022, SHINE has provided a space for contemporary poets worldwide. The series highlights poetry that provokes thought, explores identity, and challenges perspectives. SHINE Quarterly expands this mission by giving featured poets an even broader audience in print format.
Curator Samantha Terrell is a widely recognized poet and author. Her collections, including her most recent release Delta Function (Alien Buddha Press, 2024), have earned consistent praise. A Pushcart Prize and Forward Prize nominee, Terrell's work has appeared in numerous publications such as 100 Subtexts, Door=Jar, Eunoia Review, Green Ink Poetry, In Parentheses, Poetry Quarterly, and The Orchards Poetry Journal. Her poem "Just Justice" received First Honorable Mention for the Anita McAndrews Poets for Human Rights Award in 2021.
Through SHINE, Terrell continues to amplify poetic voices worldwide, fostering a platform where diverse perspectives shine brightly. Poets are encouraged to submit their work for consideration in both the online series and quarterly print magazine.
