Payment details:
At Low Hanging Fruit, we're a new and growing community, and we believe in supporting artists by compensating them for their visual and literary work. While our budget is tight right now, we're committed to offering what we can, with hopes of being able to offer more as we grow and start making sales. As of now, we haven’t made any profits yet, but we’re optimistic about the future. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us through the submission email above.

What we can offer is:
$4 per accepted Poem
$6 per accepted Short Story and Visual Art piece
$10 for Text-based games

Submission Guide and Guidelines

**Most of this is OPTIONAL. We are not strict on formatting**

General Guidelines:
-All submissions must be original, unpublished work.
-We accept submissions in the following categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry, Visual Art (photography, illustrations, comics, etc.).
-Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please inform us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
-We aim to respond to all submissions within one month.
Fiction & Non-Fiction:
-Please keep your submissions under 5000 words.
-Format your document in Times New Roman, 12pt font, double-spaced.
-Include a brief bio (50-100 words) in your submission email or document.
Poetry:
-Submit up to 5 poems in a single document.
-Each poem should start on a new page.
-Include a brief bio (50-100 words) in your submission email or document.
Visual Art:
Submit up to [number—e.g., 5] pieces of artwork.
Images should be in JPEG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Please provide a brief description or caption for each piece, along with your bio.
How to Submit:
-Send your submissions to lowhangingfruitsubmission@gmail.com with the subject line: Submission - [Category/Medium] - [Your Name].
-Attach your work as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file for written work; and as JPEG for visual art.
-In the body of your email, include your name, contact information, and a brief bio.
Rights:
By submitting, you agree to grant us first publication rights if your work is selected. After publication, the rights revert back to you.
